The EconLit Abstract of the reviewed work begins “Examines whether the fiscal competition among governments to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) has been grossly exaggerated. Asks which government policies prove beneficial to multinational operations and which political institutions provide multinational corporations with credible commitments to these market-friendly policies.
